Does SHIELD IQ measure water quality?
SHIELD IQ monitors filter life (gallons processed) and system status — it does not provide in-line water quality testing. For water quality testing, contact your SHIELD dealer.

How accurate is the filter life reading?
SHIELD IQ tracks total gallons processed using the SHIELD's integrated flow meter. Life calculations are based on certified filter capacity at the specified flow rate for your installed cartridge.
What happens if I don't have a registered dealer?
If no dealer is registered to your system, service notifications are routed directly to the online store. We recommend registering a dealer during system installation.
Can I add SHIELD IQ to an existing system?
Yes. SHIELD IQ is an add-on kit that can be installed on any existing SHIELD system. Contact your registered SHIELD dealer to schedule an IQ installation service visit.
Is SHIELD IQ available for Android?
The Crusader SHIELD app is currently available for iPhone only. Android availability is a future roadmap item. Check with your dealer for the current status.
Does SHIELD IQ require Wi-Fi?
No. SHIELD IQ uses Bluetooth to communicate with your iPhone when the app is within range. Usage data is synced to the cloud when your phone has a network connection.
